It’s Westminster time! Our beloved Azule received Sheep Creek’s first invitation to compete at Westminster! What a privilege! You can watch the Kerry Blue Terrier ring at westminsterkennelclub.org on Tuesday, February 12th at 9:00 a.m. CST in Ring One. Keep an eye out for Azule and Conor and help us cheer him along!
It’s been an exciting week for Sheep Creek as Azule met up with his new teammate, Conor McFadden, at the AKC National Championship in Orlando, Florida. At the Brevard Kennel Club All Breed Show on Wednesday Azule and Conor were awarded Best of Breed! They did an amazing job representing the Kerry Blue Terrier in groups that day as well. A very nice start for the new team before the AKC Championship show this weekend.
As the show season of 2018 is coming to a close we are excited to announce that Azule’s plans for 2019 have been sealed. He will be campaigning in 2019 with Conor McFadden! We can’t wait to see what exciting times await this team next year!
On October 31st Sheep Creek welcomed two little boys into the world! Both are healthy and doing well. The proud puppy parents are Sheep Creek’s own Yahtzee and Hero. You can view the H Litter here.
Sheep Creek headed to the three day show in Sioux Falls this weekend with high hopes and were not disappointed! On Saturday, Azule was Best of Breed and headed into the competitive Terrier Group where he succeeded in securing a Group 1. Sunday was also exciting when he again secured Best of Breed and was once again competitive in the Terrier Group walking away with a solid Group 2 placing. It was a long weekend but well worth the effort!
The puppies have officially turned three weeks old! Everyone is thriving and starting to show us their sweet little personalities. They were introduced to toys over the weekend and immediately started dragging them around, chewing on them, and stealing them from each other. The weekend of September 8, 9, 2018 at the Des Moines Kennel Club Show Sheep Creek Defynnder of the Galaxy of Krisma (Fynn) went home with Best of Winners both Saturday and Sunday, earning two four point majors at 11 months old. Fynn is a precocious Kerry boy who usually loves to perform acrobatics and play in the ring, but that weekend Fynn and Lindsay clicked as a team and “got it.” What a weekend!
On Saturday, August 25, 2018 the Kerry Blue Terrier Club of Chicago hosted their annual Specialty Show. BIS MBISS GCHB Sheep Creek Azule of Krisma (Azule) defended his Best in Show Specialty win from the previous year. Presented before Judge Jay Richardson by Sheep Creek handler Jinece Rees; Azule’s triple threat of superior coat, color and movement secured him year over year Best in Show Specialty wins.
East Sheep Creek welcomed five precious pups (4 boys, 1 girl) to the world on Tuesday, August 28th! Everyone is doing well. Suri is a wonderful mommy. To see more pictures of this beautiful litter and view their pedigree, please visit Litter G’s page.
